Round Hardwood Dining table

The challenge with the round table with the asymmetrical glass center shown in the thumbnail below was how to keep the table relatively small and yet somehow get the leg system out of the way.

The table is 40" across and was originally intended more as a breakfast table that a dining table although it is quite suitable for both uses.

I have made one of these for clients who live in a small city apartment and it perfect just for the couple themselves and for entertaining.

The legs are designed to remain at the "corners" of the tables sweeping away from the center so as not to interfere with leg room.

The woods chosen are Pacific Northwest madrone and Purple heart.

The perfect Chairs for the round hardwood dining table are the Vanya Chairs with the spiral curling arms.
